The Dinanath R.T.S. Gold Wire Drawplate is used to reduce the thickness of gold, silver and copper wire by pulling it through progressively smaller holes. It lets goldsmiths make custom wire for chains, clasps, prongs, bangles and jewellery frameworks from thicker stock. Smooth, precisely made holes give even wire with a clean surface. Use with draw tongs and a little lubricant. Supplied by Dinanath & Sons, a Delhi supplier of goldsmith tools since 1960.
