The Borax Soldering Flux Dish is used by goldsmiths to rub a borax cake with water into a smooth paste, which is then applied to joints as flux before soldering. Flux keeps the metal clean, helps solder flow and gives neat, strong joints on gold and silver jewellery. A small, essential bench item for every jeweller. Pair with suhaga, solder and a torch.
